‘60’s musical lettering

Zed Leppezin is a satirical, illustrated lettering exercise as a take on the well known musical group Led Zeppelin. The Unknown Soldier was created as an anti-war poster in 2004, based on the song by The Doors. Tarantula, was originally created as an accompaniment to a portrait of singer songwriter Bob Dylan. The Who logotype was created, like the rest of these samples, merely for my own entertainment.

Mockups were created to showcase the various lettering examples as they might appear on different print, signage and merchandise applications.
